Today I would like to share a little personal story from my past. Not any story, but the story on how I actually got to know (spoiler alert: and fell in love with) Stampin‘ Up!
It all started with a former colleague of mine bringing a shiny catalog to work, to browse through during our lunch break. If you know me, I not only like shiny and colorful images, I also have a sweet spot for small piglets. So when I spotted the stamp set featuring small, happy looking piggies I felt a warmth in my heart and knew – I was in love with this stamp set.
Now as it happens, over the daily tasks and chores I totally forget about all that and did not take any actions, like ordering the set or let alone finding a demonstrator close by. Luckily one of my best friends new about my excitement over this stamp set and got it for me as a Christmas gift. I was over the moon!
So when I first looked into the new annual catalog and saw the piggy’s were celebrating a return to our craft tables, you can not imagine, how happy I felt. It was crystal clear – I had to get this stamp set to complete my piggy collection – and here we are!
In order to feature as many piggy images as possible, I decided to chose this flip flap window card and loved creating it. The stamping and coloring of every little piggy gave me so much joy and filled my heart with love. So now I am curious, which stamp set or image was your first stamp set and gave you all the love you needed to start stamping?
As part of the awesome crafty collaboration community it was a pleasure to share this little story of my life along with my “Share it Sunday” project. I hope you enjoyed the story time and creative inspiration.
Please feel inspired to first hop over to all the other amazing blogs, collect a lot of inspiration and afterwards spent some time over on your craft desk yourself!
If you liked my project and would like to support me as a demonstrator I would love for you to shop with me.
